Rockstar Games has released a new collection of Grand Theft Auto VI screenshots, giving players another look at Jason, Lucia, Vice City, and the wider state of Leonida just two weeks before launch.
The Launch Gallery went live on November 5, 2026. Its images range from a Fleeca bank robbery and police pursuits to crowded nightclubs, customized vehicles, swamp camps, and an underwater scene in the Leonida Keys. Some focus on the game's two protagonists, while others spend more time on the people and places surrounding them.
The collection is worth browsing closely, particularly for players keeping track of GTA 6's named locations and smaller environmental details. It does not announce new gameplay systems or explain how the game's economy will work, but it adds plenty of new material to examine before release.
The full collection is available through Rockstar's official GTA 6 Launch Gallery.
How Many New GTA 6 Screenshots Did Rockstar Release?
The new GTA 6 Launch Gallery contains either 38 or 39 images, depending on which independent count you use. GTAVice.net and PC Gamer report 39 screenshots, while EndgameTools counts 38. Rockstar's November 5 announcement confirms the new collection but does not publish an official image total.
That means 39 is a widely reported count, not a number confirmed by Rockstar. The safest description is that the studio has released nearly 40 new screenshots.
It is also worth separating this collection from Rockstar's wider media library. The official GTA 6 Media page lists 138 screenshots in total, including previously released material. That number does not represent the November 5 update alone.

Jason and Lucia Rob a Fleeca Bank
The gallery opens with one of its most recognizable scenes: Jason and Lucia inside a Fleeca bank branch, both wearing bandanas and carrying submachine guns. They have duffel bags, while a bank employee and a customer react to the robbery.
Fleeca will ring a bell for returning players. The fictional bank was central to The Fleeca Job, the introductory heist in GTA Online. Its appearance in GTA 6 is a familiar connection to the previous game, although the screenshot does not identify the branch or explain whether this particular robbery belongs to a main-story mission.
The bank image is only one part of a much larger run of action scenes. Lucia appears firing from the passenger seat of a convertible, with an armored cash truck and police vehicles nearby. Another image shows Jason leaning out of a car window with an automatic weapon as helicopters hover overhead. Bullet holes and damage around the car make the scene look like it has already turned into a serious firefight.
There is also a motorcycle encounter inside what appears to be a shopping mall. Jason and other riders face armed guards in a corridor, giving the gallery one of its more unusual action settings.
These are strong images for players interested in GTA 6's criminal side, but they do not reveal the full mission structure, getaway mechanics, or how police responses will work during actual gameplay.
Jason's Military Aircraft Scene and Lucia's Police Encounters
One of Jason's most striking solo appearances puts him beside a military aircraft with its cargo ramp open. He carries a customized assault rifle, and a dog wearing tactical equipment stands behind him.
The dog is an easy detail to miss if you only glance at the image. It has already prompted speculation about whether animals could play a more active role in missions. For now, the screenshot confirms only that a tactically equipped dog appears in the scene. It does not establish whether Jason or Lucia can command it.
Lucia gets several close-up images of her own. In one, she holds a handgun in front of a rain-flecked window. Another shows her with a weapon raised while police lights and an officer appear behind her.
The two protagonists are presented differently across the gallery, but the images keep returning to the same contrast: quiet moments together alongside scenes involving weapons, vehicles, and law enforcement. Rockstar has not added a new story explanation to accompany those images.
Vice City Gets More Clubs, Cars, and Street-Level Detail
Vice City has the largest location presence in the new collection, and the nightlife shots are among its most memorable additions.
Jason and Lucia appear dancing at The Rusty Anchor, a crowded bar with patrons gathered around the dance floor. It looks more like a local hangout than an exclusive club. The Delights Cabaret offers a different atmosphere, with a performer beneath its neon sign and other images showing dancers preparing backstage.
Another screenshot looks inside a packed nightclub, with disco balls, hanging plants, and people filling the dance floor. These scenes give the city more identifiable entertainment venues rather than relying entirely on skyline views and familiar neon streets.
Cars and waterfront locations get plenty of attention too. The gallery includes customized vehicles, a lowrider, motorcycles, boats, and a car-meet scene. A marina shot places boats against the Vice City skyline, while other images show resort pools and the city at different times of day.
One of the quieter frames shows Jason and Lucia sitting on the hood of a pickup truck on a hill overlooking Vice City. Deer stand in the foreground, and the skyline stretches across the distance. It is a useful change of pace from the bank robbery and police encounters, and one of the clearer reminders that Leonida extends well beyond the city center.
The customized cars are interesting to look at, but they should not be treated as confirmation of a specific customization feature list. The screenshots show vehicle styling; they do not explain which modifications players can buy or install.
Grassrivers, the Leonida Keys, and Port Gellhorn
The new gallery also spends time outside Vice City.
Grassrivers appears in two particularly distinctive images. One shows an airboat moving through the wetlands as an alligator emerges from the dark water. Another depicts a campfire gathering, with people, equipment, and signs of recent activity around the campsite.
The swamp scenes have a different visual character from the beaches, hotels, and nightlife elsewhere in the collection. Mangroves, dark water, and isolated camps give this part of Leonida a more remote feel.
The Leonida Keys receive an underwater shot featuring a lionfish swimming among aquatic plants, with a diver shining a flashlight nearby and a boat visible above the surface. It is a small but welcome addition because it gives players a look at the coastal environment from below the waterline.
Port Gellhorn appears in the gallery through the Delights Cabaret material. These named locations help make the new collection more useful than a generic set of promotional images: players can connect individual scenes to places Rockstar has already introduced.
Not every region of Leonida appears in this particular gallery, however. The images should not be mistaken for a complete map preview.
What the New GTA 6 Screenshots Confirm — and What They Don't
The gallery provides clear visual evidence of several locations, characters, vehicles, and situations. It does not automatically confirm the mechanics behind them.
| Visible in the screenshots | Not confirmed by the images |
|---|---|
| Jason and Lucia robbing a Fleeca bank | The full heist structure or mission requirements |
| A tactical dog near Jason and a military aircraft | Whether players can command or use the dog |
| Customized cars and a car-meet scene | The complete vehicle customization system |
| Interior views of bars and clubs | Whether every business can be entered |
| Alligators and underwater wildlife | Specific animal AI or hunting mechanics |
| Police vehicles, officers, and helicopters | Changes to wanted levels or police behavior |
| A diver exploring underwater | The full range of diving activities |
The distinction matters because static images can show how a scene looks without explaining how it behaves when players take control. Claims about advanced tire deformation, dynamic mud physics, fully enterable buildings, or wildlife AI need gameplay footage or direct confirmation from Rockstar.
The same caution applies to comparisons with Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2. The new images give players plenty of reasons to look closely at Rockstar's environments and character models, but they are not technical demonstrations of the RAGE engine.
Does the New Gallery Reveal Anything About GTA 6 Cash?
Not yet. The new screenshots show cash during the Fleeca robbery, expensive-looking vehicles, boats, and different lifestyles across Leonida. They do not reveal how players will earn money, what properties will cost, or how the in-game economy will be balanced.
For players searching for GTA 6 Cash or cash-related services, this distinction is important. The gallery is not confirmation of a currency system, a money-purchasing feature, or any legitimate way to obtain GTA 6 funds before launch. Rockstar has not used this announcement to explain those details.
If you are considering a GTA 6 Cash service, wait until Rockstar publishes clear information about the game's economy and any supported online features. Be especially careful with offers that promise guaranteed GTA 6 money before the game is released or claim to provide official Rockstar currency without verifiable support.
There is no reason to treat the cash visible in the Fleeca screenshot as evidence of a new money-making method. It is simply part of the robbery scene.
GTA 6 Pre-Load Date and Download Size
The screenshot release comes just two weeks before launch, so players preparing their consoles have another date to keep in mind.
Rockstar has confirmed that digital pre-loading begins on November 10, 2026. The start time depends on the platform:
-
PlayStation 5: November 10 at midnight in the player's local time zone.
-
Xbox Series X|S: November 10 at 12 a.m. GMT.
Rockstar also says the pre-load will require up to 212 GB of available storage, depending on the device. That is the official pre-load requirement; players should not assume that every platform will report an identical final installed size.
If you have already pre-ordered digitally, check that automatic downloads are enabled and make room on your console before November 10. Rockstar's official GTA 6 Pre-Load FAQ includes platform-specific instructions.
GTA 6 is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Where to View the Full GTA 6 Launch Gallery
The complete new collection is available on Rockstar's official GTA 6 Launch Gallery. The wider GTA 6 Media page also includes previously released screenshots, trailers, and other promotional material.
The Fleeca robbery, motorcycle confrontation, and Jason's military-aircraft scene will likely attract players looking for action. The quieter images are worth a look too, particularly The Rusty Anchor, the Grassrivers camps, the underwater view in the Leonida Keys, and the hillside overlooking Vice City.
Rockstar has not announced a new gameplay system or story reveal with this gallery. What it has done is give players nearly 40 more official images to examine, with a little more of Leonida's everyday life visible before the November 19 launch.
