3. Ritual

You need to collect two Soul Cocoons and bring them to Fate Altar on the map to begin the ritual. The ritual will summon a final boss – Soulgnawer. Defeating it will drop a large amount of high-tier rare equipment, including Legendary and Holy tier items.

Shadowstrix

Veil of Shadows ability allows Shadowstrix to enter full stealth, concealing footsteps and radar signatures, while Viper Strike inflicts armor penetration damage and applies a poison-over-time effect upon breaking stealth.

From the Ashes core talent makes this burst combo extremely deadly: it significantly increases critical strike damage for 3 seconds after breaking stealth, and combined with key attributes like Agility and Armor Penetration, Shadowstrix can eliminate squishy targets before they can even react.

For solo players, the stealth mechanic also has defensive value. When the situation gets out of control and multiple players surround you, being able to disappear and find a better opportunity to fight is far more valuable than simply dealing damage.

Withered Knight

Withered Knight's core talent, Withering Talent, adds powerful crowd control to its primary attacks, making it a true battlefield disruptor when played correctly.

However, this class's weakness lies in its need for sustained offensive pressure to be effective. Any gaps in Sigils stacking loop leave openings, which experienced PvP opponents will exploit. Despite its heavy-armored knight appearance, its gameplay leans more towards an assassin, requiring players to adapt throughout their Mistfall Hunter experience.

Mercenary

Mercenary is my most recommended class for action game beginners or those new to extraction ARPGs. It offers two weapon configurations: a sword and shield combination (defensive, fast-paced attacks) or a greatsword (high damage but sacrificing some defense). Whirlwind Cleave reliably handles PvE enemies, while Victory Wine provides continuous health regeneration and a physical attack boost.

The class's core talent, Bloodthirst Frenzy, provides a cumulative attack speed bonus based on kills, making monster-killing increasingly smooth as combat progresses. If you prioritize stacking Total Vitality and Lifesteal, you can transform Mercenary into a highly forgiving, self-sufficient warrior.

However, its potential isn't as high as Sorcerer's or Shadowstrix's. Against equally skilled opponents using top-tier classes, Mercenary struggles to dominate in PvP, but it allows you to survive long enough without frequent penalties to learn the game mechanics.

Blackarrow

Blackarrow is a ranged archer who kites enemies and applies status effects from a distance. The advantage is obvious: maintaining distance means avoiding damage. The disadvantage is that most classes close the distance faster than beginners expect, and Blackarrow has low health, offering no reliable escape options other than skillful dodging.

In Mistfall Hunter, this is a high-risk, high-reward class, heavily reliant on third-person shooting accuracy. In PvP, a few missed shots can completely turn the tide of battle. Skilled players can unleash its true value, but the margin for error is extremely low.

C-Tier

Seer

Seer is a support class in Mistfall Hunter. In solo play, supports struggle to reach their full potential.

However, Seer becomes much more valuable in a well-coordinated team. Astral Bond connects teammates to share damage and provide continuous healing. Celestial Tether can immobilize enemy front-line units, protecting back-line players.

Seer's core talent, Echoing Omens, provides a second trigger condition for support spells, effectively increasing the output of control skills. Prioritize Cooldown Reduction and Spirit Power for skill attributes to maintain skill rotation.

Verdant Grounds Moot Hall is the first worthwhile location, located north of Verdant Grounds landmark. Elite Berserker Boss here has a chance to drop a key upon defeat. Additionally, the chests and containers scattered around it also have a good drop rate.

Supreme Hall

The second is the area around Supreme Hall in the northwest. Many Crucified Effigies resembling scarecrows are scattered near the stairs and barricade doors. These statues are your target. Loot each statue for a chance to obtain a key.

Once you enter the map, quickly finding your way is crucial. Proceed along the path from Funholm, crossing terrain fissures. You can use Updrafts to descend, or if you're playing a Sorcerer, Phantom Step Spell works very well here.

Once you reach the bottom, look for Corrupted Heavy Knight Elite guarding a narrow passage below the updraft point. The chest is hidden among the rocks behind that enemy. However, you cannot reach the chest without defeating Knight Elite.

Note that Corrupted Heavy Knight Elite deals high damage, so be prepared with a full set of gear. Don't attempt to open the chest with only basic gear. Because if you die here with the key, you will lose everything.

Loot Rewards

According to our current information, Otto the Flesheater only spawns in Brandrgarde, but your Equipment Value must be at least 300 Mistfall Hunter Gyldenblood to enter.

Once inside, head to Main Hall area near the center of the map. A warning message from Soekja's Solace will appear on the screen, indicating that Mist Lord is ready to face the challenge.

Main Hall has three entrances: East, South, and West. When your team enters and begins combat, a barrier will immediately seal behind you, preventing other teams from intervening during the fight.

After the battle, a portal will appear. You have approximately 45 seconds to loot Otto's loot and reach the portal. It's recommended that one player immediately loot the supplies while the rest guard the entrance. Otherwise, once the barrier disappears, teams waiting outside the arena will swarm in to steal your loot.

Berserk

Otto slams forward, unleashing a series of claw attacks. Players can block, move to the sides, or retreat out of the attack range.

Ground Smash

Unblockable Red Attacks

Building Right Team

He possesses extremely high health and strong resistance to ranged and magical attacks, making direct damage output very difficult. First, your team needs a Withered Knight or Mercenary. Their main role is to draw Otto's attention and block all blockable attacks - in short, absorb damage and act as the front-line tank.

Secondly, you'll need either Sorcerer or Blackarrow. Their primary role is to reduce Otto's health, but Flesheater has high resistance to ranged and magic damage, so your damage output will be lower than expected. Therefore, Ranged DPS should focus on sustained, stable output rather than over-relying on burst damage.

If you want extra mobility during threat resets, consider switching to Shadowstrix; trust in the team's coordination.

Finally, Seer is absolutely essential. He's the core of the team; his buffs and debuffs (AoE) prevent the fight from spiraling out of control, and his shield generation provides the tank with breathing room when facing high-difficulty red attacks.

During the fight, Seer should rotate between Otto's back and front lines, maintaining the healing rotation while relieving pressure on the tank.
