How Streamlined SBCs Work?

When you access a Streamlined SBC in FUT 27, the system lists eligible Player Items from your Club. Each submitted card adds to your progress toward the target score, and rewards are claimed once the goal is reached.

Most Streamlined SBCs do not require a full 11-player squad; Chemistry, Position, Nationality, and League rarely affect eligibility for submission.

Currently, an Item Score of 1 - 500 corresponds to a Bronze Pack, 501 - 1,000 to a Large Bronze Pack, with rewards scaling up as the contributed score increases.

However, these rewards do not guarantee a return equivalent to the value of Fodder used. Spending a large amount of FC 27 coins to replace high-value cards lost in an unfinished SBC can easily outweigh the compensation received.

Fodder Strategy

Bronze, Silver, and 75 - 79 OVR cards provide lower Item Scores, making them better suited for topping off progress. Relying on them to meet high Item Score requirements in FUT 27 usually requires submitting an excessive number of cards.

An 83 OVR card provides 410 points, while an 84 OVR card yields 830 points; these are ideal for utilizing duplicates obtained from rewards and packs.

Point values ​​increase significantly for cards rated 85 OVR and above. An 85 OVR card offers 2,100 points, an 88 OVR card reaches 8,300 points, and an 89 OVR card provides 11,000 points - meaning a single high-rated Fodder card can satisfy a large portion of the requirements.

While these cards are more efficient for filling requirements, you should still check their market price and actual squad value before submission.

Regarding FUT Gallery: once a player item has been recorded in your Gallery History, it continues to contribute value to eligible Gallery Sets, even if you subsequently sell the card or use it in an SBC.

Eligible items already recorded in your history will count toward any new Gallery Sets added later; therefore, Gallery itself is not a compelling reason to hold onto a specific card.

Standard duplicates can be prioritized as Fodder, whereas high-value Special or Holographic items require careful consideration regarding market price, potential squad use, and the fact that submission is irreversible.

As Transfer Market prices fluctuate in FC 27, the cost-efficiency of different OVR ranges will also change. Rather than hoarding Fodder of a single fixed rating, continuously comparing coin costs against Item Scores makes it easier to manage long-term investment in Player SBCs and Upgrade SBCs.

In WARDOGS, Recon class can unlock Thermal Binoculars and .50 Cal Sniper in the late game; combining these two high-tier items creates a highly efficient long-range support playstyle.

Thermal Binoculars handle the rapid searching and spotting of concealed targets, while .50 Cal utilizes that location data to secure long-range kills.

For Recon players who prefer defending FOBs, controlling the perimeter of Hot Zones, or supporting the front line from high ground, this combination significantly cuts down the time spent hunting for targets.

Thermal Binoculars Strengths

Thermal Binoculars offer thermal vision and 8x zoom while still allowing you to spot enemies normally. They excel at scanning through forests, bushes, and complex backgrounds - environments where standard optics often struggle.

If you frequently find it difficult to visually confirm targets during a WARDOGS match, switching to thermal vision allows you to instantly reveal enemy silhouettes.

Infantry in distant woods, snipers hiding near foliage, and even enemy Recons in ghillie suits find it much harder to conceal their positions through visual camouflage alone.

They also remain effective in smoke-filled environments. Whether enemies are using smoke to cross roads, reposition, or perform rescues, thermal vision provides reliable visibility.

This scanning efficiency means Recon doesn't need to painstakingly check distant windows, thickets, or building edges one by one through a sniper scope; instead, a quick sweep of a large area determines exactly where to focus next.

Thermal + .50 Cal Synergy

The operational loop for this WARDOGS combo is simple: Scan → Spot → Switch Weapon → Kill.

Recon first locates and spots the target using Thermal Binoculars, then switches to .50 Cal to take the shot.

Since the enemy's location is already confirmed, there is no need to waste time searching again while aiming the sniper rifle. Continuously spotting and helping teammates deal with targets also allows Recon to steadily earn WARDOGS cash while providing long-range support.

This is particularly effective around Hot Zones. Enemy reinforcements often traverse the same roads, walls, woods, or gaps between buildings; by covering these areas, a Recon can consistently detect targets approaching the front line.

.50 Cal is perfectly suited for this gameplay loop. It boasts formidable long-range lethality, posing a significant threat to enemies on rooftops, in windows, along tree lines, and in open areas.

Players wearing Ghillie Suits are also significantly affected. Thermal imaging increases the likelihood of spotting these targets; furthermore, since Ghillie gear cannot offer the same level of protection as high-tier Body Armor, a revealed position makes them especially vulnerable to .50 Cal.

Best Recon Positions

Towers, high-rise rooftops, and flanking positions overlooking Hot Zones are ideal for this playstyle. The wider the field of view, the more movement routes the Thermal Binoculars can monitor.

The area surrounding FOB is another excellent choice. A Recon player can stay near the base to monitor the perimeter, continuously spotting enemy infantry, vehicles, or snipers for teammates on the front lines, while simultaneously eliminating enemies attempting to approach the base or occupy long-range firing positions.

Even without personally securing every kill, this playstyle - which consistently provides target intelligence - allows Recon player to accumulate Wardogs cash.

The value of this playstyle to the team is also evident. A Recon player doesn't need to personally kill every spotted target; simply spotting multiple enemies moving toward a Hot Zone helps frontline teammates anticipate the direction of the enemy's advance.

However, steady observation doesn't mean remaining stationary indefinitely. You can maintain a favorable firing angle as long as your position isn't compromised or targeted; however, once the enemy initiates counter-sniping, mortar suppression, or a helicopter assault, you should relocate immediately.

Thermal Balance Concerns

Based on this match, the most notable balance issue with Thermal Binoculars is the apparent lack of a significant cost for prolonged use.

Wardogs players can utilize Thermal Vision for extended periods, maintaining clear long-range visibility and even spotting targets through smoke. Consequently, the concealment typically provided by forests, undergrowth, and Ghillie Suits is significantly compromised.

Some in the community have suggested limiting Thermal Vision via battery constraints or usage time limits. However, it remains to be seen whether such restrictions would be truly effective if players could simply carry large quantities of spare batteries.

While it is impossible to determine whether adjustments are needed based on just a single match, this gear setup undeniably grants high-level Recons highly reliable long-range scouting capabilities.

For Recons aiming to consistently earn Wardogs cash, this stable information advantage means they do not need to frequently venture into Hot Zone to hunt for targets.

Counters and Weaknesses

In Wardogs, while high ground offers excellent visibility, it also easily exposes Recon's position. After firing repeatedly from the same tower or rooftop, enemy Snipers will likely soon start looking for angles to counter-attack.

Mortar strikes pose a more immediate threat to stationary positions, forcing Recons to temporarily abandon their rooftops. Helicopters and Rocket Pods can also rapidly suppress high-ground positions that lack cover; consequently, players using this strategy must adjust their positioning in response to enemy actions.

Limited .50 Cal ammunition is another constraint. When engaging moving targets at long range, taking low-probability shots too frequently can easily lead to ammo shortages during the latter stages of the match.

The strength of Thermal Binoculars and .50 Cal combination lies in creating a seamless loop between long-range scouting and elimination: Thermal Vision allows for the rapid detection and spotting of concealed targets, while .50 Cal is then used to neutralize high-threat enemies once exposed.

For Wardogs Recons who have unlocked this gear, the setup is ideal for FOB defense and providing support from Hot Zone's periphery; however, lingering too long in a fixed high-ground position will quickly draw counter-fire from Snipers, Mortars, and aerial assets.

How to choose a class in AION 2? Class strength is certainly important, but it is not the only factor that should determine your Main. In the current class system, no class is so weak that nobody wants it. PvE, PvP, solo content, and farming all have classes that suit different playstyles.

There is actually no need to keep focusing on DPS rankings. If you plan to play one main reason for a long time, you should pay more attention to your playstyle, whether you prefer melee or ranged, your solo ability, and whether you mainly play PvE or PvP.

This AION 2 class guide will cover class roles, party composition, and actual performance to help you find the class that truly fits your playstyle.

Classes

At global launch, the main DPS classes in AION 2 are Assassin, Sorcerer, Spirit Master, and Ranger. Assassins use dual daggers and are a melee DPS, while Rangers use a bow and are a ranged class.

Sorcerer is a ranged magic DPS, while Spirit Master relies on magic and summons to fight. Brawler is also a DPS class, but it will not be available at the global launch of AION 2 and will come in a later update.

Tank classes are Templar and Gladiator. Templars use a sword and shield, focusing on defense and holding aggro while also providing offensive and defensive buffs. Gladiator is more offense-oriented and works as an off tank between a tank and DPS.

If an AION 2 party has both a Templar and a Gladiator, Templar will usually handle the main aggro.

Support classes include Chanter and Cleric. Chanter is an offensive support with moderate healing, party buffs, and a hybrid playstyle that combines melee and ranged capabilities. Cleric is more defense-oriented, with stronger healing, resurrection, and invincibility skills, while also being a ranged class.

Party Composition

A standard AION 2 party has five players, with a basic structure of one tank, three DPS, and one support. There is no particularly strict gatekeeping between classes. The main thing to watch for when forming a party is duplicate buffs. Different classes can provide additional value through their buffs, but the same buffs do not stack.

For example, Chanter and Cleric can be in the same party because they provide different types of buffs. Bringing two clerics does not provide the same additional value. DPS duplication is completely fine. An AION 2 Party can have three Rangers, three Sorcerers, or three Assassins.

If you are aiming for an optimized setup, Templar, Gladiator, Chanter, Cleric, and one additional DPS can cover more different buffs. However, there is no need to waste time chasing a perfect composition for normal dungeons. One tank, three DPS, and one support are already enough.

AION 2 does not have any completely obsolete classes, and there is no specific budget class designed for Free-to-Play players. All classes basically follow the same gear progression, and reaching the same combat power requires roughly similar amounts of Aion 2 kinah.

AION 2 class strength also cannot be judged by DPS meter alone. DPS classes usually deal more personal damage, but Tanks are responsible for holding aggro and keeping party's damage stable, while Supports maintain party's HP and provide buffs. Looking at party as a whole, personal damage does not fully represent a class's actual contribution.

Melee vs Ranged

The difference between melee and ranged is actually not as large as it might seem. Some AION 2 boss fights favor ranged classes, while other mechanics are better handled by melee. The biggest advantage of Ranged is obviously the ability to attack from a distance, which makes positioning easier in some situations.

Melee has one very important advantage: Block. Active Block responds very quickly and lasts for around 1.5 seconds. Against certain mechanics, AION 2 Melee classes can use Block to tank the hit directly instead of having to perform a perfectly timed Dodge every time.

If you simply want a class with a higher margin for error, Gladiator and Templar are more suitable because of their stronger survivability.

Combat Performance

In AION 2 PvP, gear is often one of the most important factors. If one player has a significant gear advantage, gear gap itself can matter more than class counters. Even when both players have similar gear, factors such as opening moves, cooldowns, crowd control, consumables, and skill choices can affect the result.

For AION 2 under-geared solo PvP specifically, Assassin, Gladiator, and Templar stand out. Assassins have very high burst and stealth, and can return to stealth after securing a kill, making it easier to leave the battlefield and look for the next target.

Gladiator combines damage and survivability, while Templar has very high durability along with decent damage. Both have Knockdown Chains, and Knockdown cannot simply be removed, making them difficult to deal with in solo PvP.

Sorcerers have very high burst, but their cooldowns are longer and more fragile. Chanter has both offensive and defensive tools, and its actual performance in AION 2 may be stronger than expected. 

Cleric has excellent survivability but weaker kill potential. It can often struggle to kill an opponent, but it is also difficult enough to deal with that the opponent may simply choose to retreat.

In AION 2 Abyss PvP, many fights take place in small-scale and mid-scale battles, which can be a good environment for melee classes.

Ranger, Sorcerer, Spiritmaster, and Cleric are better suited to large-scale battles, where ranged damage and ranged support provide more value within large formations. Templar can stand on the frontline and pull enemy AION 2 Ranged players into its own formation.

Chanter can provide support while also having ranged capabilities. Gladiator is more like a frontline bruiser, using defensive skills to push forward with the team. Assassins have relatively limited room to operate in large AION 2 formations and are better suited to looking for opportunities behind frontline or actively seeking smaller-scale fights.

AION 2 class balance will continue to change, and switching your main during the first month after launch is not a disaster. Most players will eventually develop alts, anyway. There is no need to search for the perfect class. Class strength is certainly worth considering, but the class that will actually stay with you is the one whose gameplay fits the way you want to play.

Diablo 4 Season 15 is a tribute to the entire Diablo series, allowing you to return to familiar battlefields and encounter classic enemies and characters from past games.

Season 15 also introduces account-wide War Plans and Rebirth, but the change with the most direct impact on everyday farming is gold.

Season of Hell's Legacy significantly increases multiple gold sources while also expanding the stacking limit for Gold Drop Rate. For characters that frequently farm Diablo 4 endgame content, gold acquisition efficiency has clearly improved.

Gold Sources

Almost every gold source has been improved in Season 15. Diablo 4 has increased the rewards from Gold Caches by nearly three times. At Torment XII, a Gold Cache now gives around 100 million gold, up from roughly 35 million gold.

Gold drops from regular monsters have also increased significantly. Lair bosses and enemies with Gilded affix can even drop tens of millions of gold in a single drop. Diablo 4 has also fixed an issue where enemies with Gilded Affix were dropping less gold than intended.

Because of this, Escalation Dungeons with Gilded Affixes are among the better gold farming locations in Diablo 4 Season 15. After entering an Escalating Nightmare Dungeon, you can choose the next route after completing each floor. Check Affixes of the available floors and prioritize gold-related options such as Gold Reserve or Vile Splendor.

When Vile Splendor appears, focus on killing Elite enemies with Gilded Affix. These Elites can drop large amounts of Diablo 4 gold, with a single Elite potentially providing several million gold.

If Gold Reserve appears, prioritize completing that floor, opening Horadric Chests, and defeating Dungeon Boss for additional gold. This farming method allows you to continuously filter for high-value floors throughout an Escalating Nightmare Dungeon run and build up a large amount of gold.

In D4 Season 15, the maximum value of Gold Drop Rate affix has also increased. Greater Affixes can reach up to 125%, while several types of gears and Diablo 4 items can provide Gold Drop Rate. One example is the new Season of Hell's Legacy Chest Armor, Squirt's Blouse. To improve gold farming efficiency, stack as much Gold Drop Rate as possible based on your build.

Splinter of Lies Farming

The new Seasonal Gem, Splinter of Lies, can also increase Gold Drop Rate in Diablo 4 Season 15. In Season of Hell's Legacy, Soul Splinters can be socketed into jewelry. With Leoric's Crown, Soul Splinters can also be socketed into your Helm, further strengthening their effects.

Soul Splinters come in several quality levels, with Unique being the highest. The higher the quality, the stronger the effect. One of the more convenient ways to farm them is through Escalating Nightmare Dungeons.

First, enter Nightmare Dungeon area through War Plans and unlock the node leading to Branching Pathways.

This node unlocks branching routes. Once it is unlocked, enter an Escalating Nightmare Dungeon, where each floor offers different Reserve rewards.

When farming Splinter of Lies, you first need to understand the relationship between Diablo 4 Resistance types and Gems. Different Soul Splinters correspond to different Resistances, and the matching Gem is the target you should look for when choosing floor rewards.

Splinter of Lies corresponds to Cold Resistance, and the matching gem is Sapphire. Therefore, when entering an Escalating Nightmare Dungeon, prioritize Sapphire Reserve whenever it appears among the available floor rewards.

Enter the corresponding floor and open Horadric Chests to obtain Splinter Supplies, which have a chance to contain Splinter of Lies.

Splinter Supplies can drop Soul Splinters, with blue and yellow qualities being relatively common. At the same time, Dungeon Bosses in an Escalating Nightmare Dungeon can also drop the corresponding Soul Splinter, with a chance to directly obtain a higher-quality version, up to Legendary.

This means there are two main ways to obtain Soul Splinters in Diablo 4. Horadric Chests inside the floors provide a steady supply of lower-quality Splinters, while Dungeon Bosses have a chance to directly drop higher-quality versions.

Lower-quality Soul Splinters also do not need to be discarded. Five Blue Splinters can be combined into one Yellow, five Yellow can be combined into one Legendary, and five Legendary Splinters can finally be combined into one Unique Splinter.

Diablo 4 Escalating Nightmare Dungeon Sigils also do not need to be saved. Dungeon Bosses will continuously drop the corresponding Sigils, while five regular Nightmare Dungeon Sigils can be combined into one Escalation Sigil.

Diablo 4 Season 15 changes the pace of gold farming in the endgame. In the past, gearing, material farming, and gold farming often had to be handled separately, requiring dedicated farming sessions. Now, with increased gold rewards and a higher Gold Drop Rate cap, regular endgame activities can provide a much more substantial amount of gold on their own.

For characters pushing into high-level endgame content in Season 15, gold is no longer a resource that frequently holds back gear upgrades or build adjustments. As farming progresses deeper, gold and items can continue to accumulate through the same farming loop. This is the most direct change brought by the increased gold rewards in Season of Hell's Legacy.

The next major update for ARC Raiders, titled Frozen Trail, is set to launch on October 8. Ahead of the official release, Embark Studios will host a Frozen Trail First Look on September 23, showcasing what the developers have described as the game's largest update since launch.

A short teaser released on September 18 revealed little about the gameplay, showing only a glimpse of what appears to be a massive ARC machine.

With the launch date approaching, several key details about Frozen Trail remain under wraps, including the actual layout of the new map, the mechanics of ARC Operations, and how Outpost and Skill Tree systems will affect late-game progression.

Frozen Trail First Look Time

Frozen Trail First Look will premiere on the official ARC Raiders video channel on September 23 at 10 AM PDT / 1 PM EDT / 7 PM CEST - roughly two weeks before the official October 8 update.

While the event is billed as an early glimpse, the developers have not yet announced the runtime or confirmed whether there will be a full gameplay demonstration. Consequently, it is reasonable to expect a more comprehensive showcase than September 18 teaser, offering deeper insight into core systems that were previously only revealed in concept.

A New Update Schedule

The significance of Frozen Trail is also tied to ARC Raiders' shift in update strategy this year.

Embark originally planned for monthly updates, but the development team found that short production cycles limited their ability to implement major system overhauls. 

As a result, they shifted to a schedule featuring two Major Updates per year, while maintaining operations through Live Updates, events, balance adjustments, and bug fixes in the interim.

Frozen Trail is the first major release under this new model. When the plan was announced in May, it already included the new map, ARC Operations, new progression systems, Skill Tree adjustments, and advancements in ARC lore.

The Largest ARC Raiders Map

The new map will probably take center stage during First Look.

Embark has confirmed that the area introduced in Frozen Trail will be the largest map in ARC Raiders to date.

Located in the mountains at the edge of Rust Belt, the map features abandoned villages, factories, research facilities, and an observatory, while emphasizing verticality, exploration routes, and threats found both above and below ground.

Therefore, the key focus for the First Look isn't just the map's physical size, but how the newly added spaces transform exploration and combat.

Factors such as significant changes in elevation - which could affect ambush spots, lines of sight, and extraction routes - and the potential for underground areas to create new networks of movement could alter the scavenging rhythm players are accustomed to.

For players focused primarily on resource gathering, First Look is also an opportunity to see if the new area introduces fresh ARC Raiders items, high-value loot locations, or special drops.

The map also serves to advance the game's narrative. Developers have explicitly listed Exploring the origin of ARC as a core component of Frozen Trail, inviting players to investigate exactly what ARC are and where they come from.

The story of this new region begins with an anomalous signal, prompting Raiders to cross the mountains into previously unexplored territory.

This implies that environmental elements - such as research facilities, the observatory, and other elements connected to the anomalous signal - may be directly linked to the investigation into ARC's origins.

The Massive New ARC

The most striking feature of September 18th teaser was a glimpse of a massive ARC unit that has yet to be fully revealed.

ARC Raiders team has confirmed that Frozen Trail will introduce various new ARC types, ranging from small, agile machines designed to disrupt players to a colossal mechanical entity capable of stopping a Raider in their tracks. These new enemies are designed to challenge players' established habits regarding movement, combat, and tactical responses.

It remains unclear whether the massive ARC shown in the teaser is a standard map enemy, part of a special event, or directly tied to an ARC Operation.

If the full model, attack patterns, or actual gameplay encounters are revealed on September 23rd, players will be better able to gauge its role in Frozen Trail and determine whether facing such a massive ARC requires cooperative play or entirely new tactics.

High-Level ARC Operations

Frozen Trail will also introduce new, high-level ARC Operations. 

Described by the developers as enormous in scale, these operations are aimed at experienced Raiders and are built around dynamic encounters, teamwork, risk assessment, and the pressure of survival. 

Embark has even described them as some of the most intense experiences ARC Raiders has offered to date.

Many details remain unconfirmed: how to access them, whether solo play is an option, the consequences of failure, whether they feature a unique reward loop, and how they relate to the new map and ARC units - all of which await further announcement.

In particular, whether ARC Operations offer exclusive ARC Raiders items or other high-tier rewards could directly influence players' motivation to repeatedly tackle these challenges.

Outpost and Skill Tree Changes

Frozen Trail will also continue to expand the scope for long-term Raider progression.

Beyond the existing Raider Den, players will gain access to a new space - Outpost - where they can decorate the space, research what they discover in the world, and pursue long-term goals centered on reclaiming the surface.

Embark will adjust Skill Tree to offer more development options for different Raider builds, while also continuing to refine Raider Decks.

How effectively these changes integrate with the new map and ARC Operations to create a stable gameplay loop will directly affect the endgame experience in Frozen Trail.

If discoveries, research findings, and high-level activities can consistently feed back into Outpost development and character progression, players will have new avenues for advancement even after hitting the current Skill Point cap.

The extent to which specific ARC Raiders items factor into Outpost research, upgrades, or other long-term objectives is another aspect of this progression system that may require further clarification.
