Torchlight Infinite SS11 T8 Farming Guide: Achieve High Profits without Pets

In Torchlight Infinite SS11, pets are a great help to players, but high-level pets are not easy to obtain. However, it's possible to farm T8 content for currency and items even without pets. Mastering these three strategies can also help you acquire a large amount of resources.

Jan 26, 2026 Author: EZG

Torchlight Infinite SS11 significantly increased the difficulty of the late-game content, with stronger Vorax enemies and more frequent affix stacking. Facing these powerful foes, players need to farm substantial amounts of currency and equipment resources to safely reach the endgame.

Many players believe that efficiently acquiring T8 map resources requires expensive or rare pets. While pets do improve efficiency, they are not essential.

Torchlight Infinite SS11 T8 Farming Guide: Achieve High Profits without Pets

With the right Talent Constellations and appropriate buffs, you can reliably acquire Flame Elementium and item resources even without high-level pets.

Below, I will introduce three strategies for reliably farming without pets, helping you obtain the necessary Torchlight Infinite currency and resources.

1. Boss Gauntlet

This is the most stable T8 "beginner" farming strategy. Its core idea is simple: farm a large number of high-level bosses for their drops, turning bosses into currency treasure troves.

At this point, your focus when farming is on collecting loot from the battlefield, such as:

  • Resonance
  • Elixir of Oblivion
  • Winding Keys
  • Embers
  • Beacons
  • Divinity Stones

Talent Constellation

First, we need to invest 12 points in Aeterna and activate the surrounding nodes. Then, invest 15 points in God of War to ensure God of War appears, which helps increase boss density and damage.

Next is Frozen Canvas Talent Constellation. We need to invest 8 points in Snowpaper, a classic item for dealing with bosses.

Then we go to Beacon Talent Constellation and activate 4 nodes to help increase the number of Beacons dropped when defeating bosses, which is an important resource.

Don't forget Compasse Talent Constellation. Investing 12 nodes in this constellation not only increases the compass drop rate but also has a chance to increase the compass's rarity.

Since our gains come from the probability of boss drops, not the total number of loot dropped on the map, do not use Resonance in this strategy, as it will reduce our net gains.

The key to this strategy is to increase the boss spawn rate on the map, which not only doubles our gains but also ensures a sufficient amount of loot drops.

In this case, we don't actually need to bring any pets. However, if you still prefer to bring one, you can choose Captain Shadow, as it gives bosses a 60% chance to drop an additional 1-3 Embers.

2. Dreams and Pirates

This strategy requires entering Dream Map. On the map, we need to choose different paths, each offering additional rewards, stronger enemies, special events or chests, and the possibility of pirate ambushes.

Finally, we need to challenge the final boss, Sand Pirates, to obtain high-value drops.

Many players believe that Dream content requires a Shepherd pet, but this is not the case. We only need to configure Dream correctly.

Talent Constellation

First, ensure you've unlocked Timemark 7 for this strategy to be effective.

Then, our focus is on Nightmare Talent Constellation. Investing 35 points in this constellation not only increases the number of extra drops but also improves the frequency of rewards.

Next, we move to Sandlord Talent Constellation. Invest 8 points and activate Uptight node. This increases the chance of additional enhanced Sand Pirates appearing in the level, thus increasing loot drops.

We need to invest 22 points in Blacksail Talent Constellation, activating Medium node to increase the treasure drop rate.

Finally, allocate 15 points to War Talent Constellation and 2 points to the Profound Talent Constellation, increasing both damage and drop count.

This is a hybrid economic farming strategy, combining Dreamcraft and Sand Pirate rewards. At this point, your focus shifts from simply stacking bosses to controlling the outcome of events.

Sand Pirate event rewards you with Star Shards and Boss Invitations, both of which can be sold or used to exchange for additional rewards.

You also have a chance to obtain Memory Material, another valuable loot item. You can choose to keep it or sell it for a good price.

3. Beacon Farming

Beacon farming differs from other farming methods. It doesn't primarily focus on items like Resonance or Keys, but rather on farming Beacon itself.

Beacon is a tradable Torchlight Infinite currency. At certain stages of the season, its price can be very high, making Beacon farming definitely profitable.

Talent Constellation

First, invest 12 points in Commodities Talent Constellation to maximize item drops, especially for currencies like Flame Sand and Embers.

Then invest 37 points in Beacon Talent Constellation, prioritizing maxing out almost all Beacon-related nodes to increase Beacon drop rates and the drop rate of variants like Deep Space Beacons.

Next are War Talent Constellation and Profound Talent Constellation, which help clear beacons and extra monsters faster.

Adjustments to Talent Constellation have increased the number of beacons dropped by monsters and bosses. You can also use compasses and talent effects that benefit beacon gains, along with appropriate card choices, to increase monster or beacon spawn modifiers.

When using this strategy to farm, you can carry an Unrivaled Veteran Compass, which not only increases the number of monsters but also improves the beacon drop rate.

These are the three recommended strategies for farming T8. In Torchlight Infinite SS11, even without using high-level pets, you can effectively farm the resources you want in several ways.

You can strategically combine these three methods to maximize your time for items and FE gains in the ever-evolving Vorax season.
