The player community has been buzzing these past few days, with everyone speculating whether the developers have hidden all the currency in Torchlight Infinite SS13 Afterlight.
The official patch notes give a clear indication: the developers are indeed reducing the drop rate of Flame Elementium on base maps, while significantly increasing the drop rate towards the endgame.
This season's currency retention and accumulation curve is much steeper than before. All high-value currency and resources are concentrated in K8 and higher-tier Profound K8 maps, meaning you must get to K8 maps as quickly as possible if you want to acquire more resources for upgrades.
To address this early-season predicament, here's a configuration guide for more efficient resource farming in K8 and higher maps, earning approximately 400+ FE per hour.

Core Strategy
Currently, Beacon Farming has become the most popular low-cost currency-earning method in Torchlight Infinite SS13 during the early to mid-game. The key difference lies in choosing the right configuration to maximize the efficiency of this farming strategy.
The core idea is to maximize resource allocation around Beacon Constellations, increasing the acquisition of high-value Beacons (such as Glacial Abyss Beacons) and ultimately exchanging them for FE in the game market.
According to current statistics, a regular Beacon is worth approximately 2.5-3.5 FE, while a Profound K8 Beacon is worth as much as 15-30+ FE.
Unlike traditional high-investment strategies, this approach doesn't rely on high map Juice investment, high DPS builds, or rare high-level equipment. Instead, it leverages the synergy between Atlas Passives and Beacon Constellations to ensure a stable high yield from the map.
Atlas Passives Configuration
Atlas consists of multiple independent but interconnected Constellations. Players gain Constellation Points by completing each Otherworldly Moment or defeating a Watcher. Its core components are divided into three main categories:
- Basic Drops: Increases the drop rate of Beacon and Currency, or enhances the effects of Atlas Chaos Cards.
- The Six Gods: When fully upgraded, these trigger corresponding divine trials more frequently on the map, increasing monster density.
- Seasonal Core Mechanics: Includes Void Sea, Aeterna, Dark Surge, and the current SS13 Afterlight Soul Candles mechanic. Allows you to specialize in a particular playstyle to produce exclusive high-value materials.
God of War Constellation
God of War Constellation is one of the Six Gods and one of the most popular and widely used endgame farming nodes in Void Chart.
Its main function is that, upon entering the map, there is a chance to trigger God of War Followers. These followers are not ordinary monsters, but a group of additionally generated Magic Monsters, which is the core of this Beacon Farming system.
Beacon Constellation increases the chance of magical monsters dropping additional Beacon, while God of War Followers increases the number of magical monsters on the map. Combined, these significantly increase Beacon production on each map, creating a complete profit cycle.
For Passive selection, only the main God of War nodes need to be selected; there's no need to invest in the left-side areas.
Beacon Constellation Selection
Beacon Constellation is the second core area of this setup. Here, the following should be prioritized:
1. Left-side Beacon Nodes
These nodes primarily improve the overall efficiency of Beacon acquisition, including increasing the drop rate and improving the stability of beacon resource production on the map.
Since the main source of profit for this build is acquiring large quantities of Beacon and selling high-value beacons for Flame Elementium, the left-side Beacon nodes are the most important foundational choice in the entire system.
In actual gameplay of Torchlight Infinite SS13 Afterlight, players don't profit solely from the sheer volume of gear dropped on a single map. Instead, they maximize Beacon spawn rates on each map, rapidly building a numerical advantage through high-speed map clearing.
Therefore, Beacon drop nodes directly impact the number of Beacons you acquire per hour on the map, ensuring stable profits.
Combined with the abundant Magic Monsters provided by God of War Constellation, these Beacon nodes further amplify profits, converting additional monster spawns into more beacon output.
2. Top Glacial Abyss Beacon Node
In the current SS13 Afterlight, Glacial Abyss Beacons are among the most valuable Beacon types on the market. Therefore, increasing the spawn rate of these Beacons directly boosts overall farming profits.
Since this strategy doesn't rely on high-intensity map enhancements but rather accumulates Beacon numbers through frequent, rapid map clearing, increasing the drop rate of high-value Beacons makes hourly earnings more stable.
For players aiming to maximize Torchlight Infinite Flame Elementium income, these nodes are a crucial part of Beacon Farming.
3. Magic Monster Beacon Drop Node
The node in Beacon Constellation that increases the chance of Magic Monsters dropping Beacons is also central to the entire gameplay.
The primary function of this node is to provide Magic Monsters with an additional chance to drop Beacons, creating a powerful synergy with the effects of God of War Constellation.
Because God of War mechanic generates additional God of War Followers on the map, these monsters are Magic Monsters and directly enjoy the extra Beacon drop bonus.
4. Bottom Duplication Nodes
The main function of Duplication Nodes is to increase Beacon duplication effect, giving players a chance to obtain even more Beacons when acquiring them. While the boost from a single trigger isn't significant, the duplication mechanism noticeably increases overall Beacon production during prolonged, high-frequency map farming.
Since the core benefit of this farming strategy comes from acquiring a large number of Beacons and ultimately selling them on the market for Flame Elementium, any mechanism that increases Beacon quantity should be amplified.
Combined with the abundance of Magic Monsters provided by God of War, and the drop rate and duplication effect offered by Beacon Constellation, these factors together constitute the core revenue system for Beacon Farming.
Most importantly, this strategy isn't limited to specific maps or gameplay styles; it's a universal Torchlight Infinite SS13 Currency farming solution for the entire season.
