Now, it's been over two weeks since the official release of WoW The Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary. Have you already traversed Dark Portal and reached the level cap of 70? I think most players should have already done so, as the developers significantly reduced the difficulty of some leveling in this expansion.
Unlike most RPGs, WoW Classic series doesn't have a clear distinction between leveling and endgame content, and The Burning Crusade is no exception. Once you reach the level cap, you can freely explore all the content in this vast game world. Or simply shut down your device and exit, but are you satisfied with that?
After reaching Level 70, there's still a lot more content waiting for you in the TBC Classic Anniversary. This guide will provide you with a list of things to do, which you can complete according to your own exploration habits, in order to enjoy this groundbreaking third-generation expansion to a deeper level.
Farm All Reputations
During your previous gameplay, you may have increased your reputation to some extent due to the requirements of certain main quests; however, once you are no longer restricted by quests and level, you can farm all the reputation belonging to your faction to Revered, in order to get some extremely important gear.
Reaching this reputation level will grant you Heroic Dungeon keys and Helmet enchant, which you can use yourself or sell directly on the auction house. Your ultimate goal is to achieve Exalted reputation with each item to obtain a special gear, each containing very high item levels.
While it's recommended to farm all reputations, based on difficulty, you can prioritize farming The Sha'tar, Cenarion Expedition, Keepers of Time, Lower City, The Aldor/The Scryers, and Honor Hold/Thrallmar. The Consortium, Sporeggar, and Kurenai can be considered later.
Farm Honor to Get More PvP Gear
PvP Arena Season 1 of TBC Anniversary expansion went live on February 17th. The developers made significant changes to the points system, but what remains unchanged is that these points are still used to redeem the powerful Arena's Season 1 Gladiator gear. With a level 70 character and a fully equipped build, you can freely enter any PvP arena to farm Honor.
As you accumulate more Honor Points, you can redeem an increasing variety of PvP gear, including Chests, Hands, Legs, and Shoulders, among others, which will all make it easier for you to dominate the PvP arena and earn tons of achievements. If you don't care about these empty titles, you can also sell them up on the auction house to exchange for more gold, which can be used for the next to do.
Level Professions
Once you reach the character level cap and have accumulated a significant amount of TBC Gold, you can go directly to the profession trainer you previously interacted with and upgrade each of your professions to Master level. This is not just for the sake of exploration and fun, but also for your subsequent game progress.
Engineering can help you create newer and more powerful bombs and engineer devices; Tailoring can further reduce your skill cooldowns; and Blacksmith can provide you with Dragonmaw. All of these will make your journey through future Phases and new content much easier.
Obtain Flying Mount
If you prefer to wander freely in the game world, head straight to Shadowmoon Valley to acquire your flying mount. There are two options: Rare, which increases your speed by 60%; and Epic, which increases your speed by 280%. They are crucial for quickly traversing various mission points, especially in Karrazhan Raid.
The following are the riding skill requirements and corresponding costs for these two mounts.
Rare - Expert Riding Required
- Riding Skill Cost: 800 Gold
- Mount Cost: 100 Gold
Epic - Artisan Riding Required
- Riding Skill Cost: 5,000 Gold
- Mount Cost: 200 Gold
Farm Dungeons
According to the roadmap released by WoW TBC Classic, each phase will contain 2-3 new raids. Therefore, once you reach the level cap, you can prepare in advance for the raids in the next phase, such as accumulating more Pre-Raid BiS gear.
For example, Primal Nethers and Dragonmaw can be obtained by exchanging Badge of Justice, a currency you farming in dungeons. The process is not difficult, as this expansion has weakened some of the more challenging monsters and increased the effectiveness of some PvE gear, so clearing all the dungeons is not a problem.
Prepare Alts
The last thing you can do is prepare your alt accounts, such as checking out powerful build guides for other classes. However, it's important to note that reputations are not shared between accounts; your alt accounts will still need to farm some reputation points.
Therefore, you can't directly port those high-value gears. Fortunately, these Heroic Dungeons will be directly available to your alt accounts, provided you've unlocked them before, which saves a lot of time and effort.
These are some of the things you can do in TBC Classic Anniversary once your character reaches the level cap. In fact, you can also log in to the game every day and complete all the daily tasks to increase your activity level and accumulate some exclusive tokens, which is also a good option. In short, level 70 is never the end, so keep moving forward! Have fun playing!
