Phase 3 of World of Warcraft: TBC Classic Anniversary is coming soon. Many players are closely watching Phase 3 because it will open two raids - Mount Hyjal and Black Temple.
These two raids are considered classics by many players, who consider them the most difficult and fun raids in the entire Burning Crusade. Many veteran players have memories of conquering these raids with their guildmates.
So, what exactly do these two raids include? How do you conquer them? What changes will they bring to the game?

Raid Introduction
First, I will introduce Mount Hyjal and Black Temple in detail in WoW TBC Classic Anniversary Phase 3.
Mount Hyjal
Mount Hyjal is a 25-player raid within Caverns of Time. In this instance, players will travel back in time to participate in the final battle of Third War - Battle for Mount Hyjal.
This raid include 5 boss fights: Kaz'rogal and Azgalor at Horde base, Rage Winterchill and Anetheron at Alliance base and Archimonde at Night Elf base.
Black Temple
Located in Shadowmoon Valley in Outland, Black Temple is also a 25-player raid. It was once Draenei's sanctuary, Karabor, but was later captured and became the fortress of Illidan Stormrage.
Black Temple features nine boss fights, with an average difficulty slightly higher than those in Mount Hyjal. The following are among the more difficult:
Mother Shahraz: Her abilities deal massive shadow damage to all players, so non-tank players should wear gear with sufficient shadow resistance.
Illidari Council: This boss deals high AoE damage to the entire raid throughout the fight, making it a battle that tests the team's reaction speed and survivability. Any mistake by any member can lead to a wipe.
Illidan Stormrage: This is the final boss of Black Temple. This fight will be divided into multiple phases, with the boss switching between flying and demonic forms. The entire team must be familiar with the boss's various mechanics beforehand.
Raid Guide
Mount Hyjal and Black Temple are quite difficult, requiring every WoW TBC Classic player to have a basic understanding of their strategies before entering Phase 3.
Mount Hyjal
In Mount Hyjal, the most challenging aspect isn't bosses, but its unique core mechanics. Before facing the boss, players must fend off hordes of Scourge and Trash Mobs enemies across eight waves.
Specifically, enemies in each wave automatically respawn within a maximum of two minutes of defeating the previous wave. During these two minutes, players must quickly manage their resources and ensure that crucial skills don't go on cooldown.
After the eighth wave of mobs is defeated, the boss will appear within 3 minutes. All players need to be prepared to fight the boss.
However, if the raid wipes in any wave of mobs or during the boss fight, all previous progress will be reset, and the team must start from the beginning. This means that a single mistake could waste 15-20 minutes of mob clearing time.
Black Temple
When fighting Mother Shahraz, as mentioned earlier, all team members need to stack Shadow Resistance, ideally to at least 130-180 points.
There are many pieces of gear with Shadow Resistance in WoW TBC Classic Anniversary. It's enough to just collect a few of them before Phase 3 begins.
When fighting Illidari Council, healers need to pay extra attention to their teammates' health, as this boss unleashes various high-damage AoE attacks throughout the fight. A moment's inattention from the healer could wipe out the entire raid.
Furthermore, you'll need to assign Rogue, Mage, and Shaman classes to interrupt Lady Malande's Circle of Healing throughout the fight to prevent her from healing.
When fighting Illidan Stormrage, players need to be aware of the boss's four forms: human form, flying form, tormented flame form, and demon form.
Each phase has different mechanics and strategies, requiring players to familiarize themselves with the mechanics beforehand.
These are the key mechanics strategies for these two raids. Of course, you'll also need to prepare sufficient potions and food using WoW TBC Classic Anniversary Gold beforehand and consider them when planning your tactics.
Impact of Raids
So, what impact will these two new raids in WoW TBC Anniversary Phase 3 have on game?
First, these two raids will cause changes to class DPS rankings. Classes better suited for these raids will become more popular, such as Fury Warrior, Hunter, and Warlock.
Meanwhile, Arcane Mage, a strong class in Phase 2, may not be as suitable for high DPS in Mount Hyjal and Black Temple due to mana sustain issues, and its ranking may drop.
Second, Guilds will face a severe challenge. Issues such as difficulty assembling raid groups and high consumable prices persist in TBC.
Mount Hyjal and Black Temple are quite difficult, meaning that Guilds attempting them must recruit 24 high-quality teammates, and everyone will need to consume a significant amount of Gold to acquire various consumables, which is not easy to accumulate in the game.
However, since the developers have not yet announced an official release date for Phase 3, players still have time to prepare, such as recruiting guild members, refining their builds, and accumulating Gold.
This concludes detailed introduction and strategy guide to the two raids being implemented in WoW TBC Classic Anniversary Phase 3: Mount Hyjal and Black Temple.
Are you looking forward to these two raids? In any case, players will be busy preparing for them for a while.
